Monday, August 6, 2018

On 2 December 2014 at 12:25 hours, the Cranston Heights Fire Company (Station-14) along with other Mutual-Aid Units were dispatched via the NCC 911 Center for a Multi-Residential Fire located at 3314 Old Capitol Trail (Building K) in the Cranston Hall Apartments Complex. Upon arrival, crews found smoke coming from a 3rd Floor Apartment (K-4). One 2" Hand-Line was advanced from CHFCo. Engine 14-2. The fire was discovered by crews in the apartment's living room and quickly extinguished. There was minor extension to the apartment directly below the fire apartment and all searches proved to be negative. No injuries were reported and crews on-scene operated for less than one hour. The cause of the incident is under investigation by the Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office.
