At 21:04 on March 15, Station 14 was dispatched along with Engine 21, Engine 30, Rescue 16, and Ladder 17 to a call for a vehicle fire threatening a structure. 14-8 responded at 21:06 hours, shortly followed by Engine 14-3. 14-3 arrived on scene and found the vehicle fully involved on the street in front of the house. 14-3 dropped a line at the hydrant and continued to extinguish the fire. The crew from 14-3 began fire suppression and checked the house for extension. Command placed the situation under control and reduced the assignment to Engine 14-3 and Rescue 14 at 21:12 hours.
