Every Evening (TNJ)

On 23 December 1946, at approximately 1400 hours, the Cranston Heights Fire Company along with the Elsmere FC and Mill Creek FC were dispatched for a Structure Fire at the New Castle County Workhouse. The NCC Workhouse was a Prison Complex once located at Kirkwood Highway (Route-2) and Newport Gap Pike (Route-41). The Incident was commanded by CHFCo. Fire Chief Everett Margargal.
