Residential Fire with Subject Trapped: Windy Hills (Assist Aetna H.H.&L.)

On 28 June 2014 at 2023 hours, the Cranston Heights Fire Company (Station-14) along with other mutual aid units were dispatched, via the New Castle Co. 911 Center, to assist the Aetna H.H. & L. Company of Newark (Stations 7-8-9-10) with an Engine (14-3) & Basic Life Support (BLS) Unit (B-14) on a "Working" Residential Fire, with a Subject Reported Trapped, located at 572 "A" Street, in the development of Windy Hills.  14-3 responded with a crew of four (4) under the command of Assistant Chief T. O'Connor. Upon arrival, the crew assisted with Fire Extinguishment and Overhaul in various areas of the structure, until being relieved by Command. Story By: Asst. Chief T. O'Connor (Hitchens)
