"DELAWARE MAN BURNS TO DEATH"

"Wilmington, Del. (AP) - An elderly man who lived alone burned to death Sunday when a fire swept through his two-story house in nearby Cedars."

"Cranston Heights firemen (firefighters) found the victim, Thomas Davis, 70, at the foot of the stairs on the first floor. They estimated damaged to the house at $10,000."
