On 1 September 2014 at 09:35 hours, the Cranston Heights Fire Company (Station-14), along with other Mutual Aid Units from New Castle County were dispatched via the NCC 911 Center to a Commercial Structure Fire, located at 3318 Kirkwood Highway - McDonald's Restaurant, for a report of smoke in the lobby.
