On 23 September 2014 at 22:53 hours, the Cranston Heights Fire Company (Station-14), New Castle County Paramedic Unit #7, Delaware State Police Helicopter (Trooper-4), along with Basic Life Support Units from the Elsmere FC (A-16) & Mill Creek FC (A-21) and Rescue/Engine 30-6 (Belvedere FC) were dispatched for a Motor Vehicle Collision (MVC) with Entrapment, on Lancaster Pike (Rt-48) at Hickory Springs Road.
