On 14 January 2015 at 11:45 hours, the Cranston Heights Fire Company (Station-14) was dispatched via the NCC 911 Center for and Electrical Hazard - Wires Down, as a result of a Property Damage Only Motor Vehicle Collision (PD-MVC) located at Newport Gap Pike (Rt-41) and Kenmore Drive.  Upon arrival, crews from the CHFCo. found a Single Vehicle Accident with a DelMarVa Power Pole snapped from its base, with the downed wires on top of an unoccupied vehicle, off the roadway.  (Hitchens)
