On 22 December 2013 at 02:58 hours, the Cranston Heights Fire Company (Station-14) along with other Mutual Aid Units from New Castle County, were dispatched via the NCC 911 Center to assist the Elsmere FC (Station-16) with an Engine (14-3) and Rescue-14 on a "Working" Residential Fire in a Vacant Single Family Dwelling, located at 203 Brookside Avenue.
