Rescue 14 was alerted to assist Goodwill Fire Co. of New Castle, Station 18 on a structure fire at the Tesla Corperation on Centerpoint Boulevard in New Castle. Their first arriving units reported smoke from a large building out of a garage door. Crews extinguished the fire and performed overhaul.

While clearing that fire, Rescue 14 and Haz Mat 14, as part ofthe New Castle County Decon Team, were sent to McCullough Drive in Minquadale for a reported building fire with possible hazardous materials, after they were sent out to investigate a fire alarm. After Minquadale firefighters had extinguished the fire, Haz Mat members working with DNREC (Delaware Natural Resource and Environmental Conservation) members, investigated the situation without finding any problems.

The day continued with additional responses including another structure fire from which units were cancelled and an MVC on Old Capitol Trail.
