Rescue 14 assisted the Hockessin Fire Company on a rescue in the afternoon Wednesday July 8th in Cotswold Hills. Two patients were overcome by fumes from a sealant being used in a confined space under a deck. Crews from Hockessin quickly requested additional resources. Rescue 14 with Deputy 14 responded as part of the New Castle County Special Ops Team and assisted with tasks on the scene helping to extricate the patient. One patient refused and another was taken by EMS to the hospital. Units cleared after about an hour.
