Rescue 14 assisted Mill Creek Fire Company - Stations 2&21 on this rescue on December 7th. Multiple units were dispatched including the New Castle County Collapse team based out of Claymont. Workers were in the process of installing a new home when there was a catastrophic collapse during the install. A worker was trapped and 9-1-1 was called. Coworkers began to try to help free the victim until the area crews arrived. After about 30 minutes of work, the victim was removed and transported to the hospital by Mill Creek and New Castle County EMS
